This wonderfully told piece of fiction has mystery, secrets and lies about the death of a student who was suppose to post things on a gossip app to expose classmates. The hated Simond dies of peanut oil ingestion and police investigate. Someone writes a post claiming to be the killer. The book focuses on four murder suspects and the reasons they could be guilty, a princess, a jock, brain, and a criminal and the media is all over it. Some relationships emerge along the way. Nate is arrested and accused, the teens set up their own investigation to discover that Jake is was involved.
This story is told from each character point of view. This story is a rumor filled story about teen that are believable and interesting to the reader. The text deals with love, hate and jealousy. They all have intriguing stories to tell and to follow. None suspect who the real killer is until the end. I liked Nate because he appears to be a good guy who is misunderstood, but Bronwyn seems to get him. The sequel by this author is Two Can Keep a Secret.
