A gripping graphic novel about a 3 arrested for the murder at a drug store. Steve Harmon who is on trial as an accomplice to the murder that happened at the drugstore. He writes his story about his experiences while in prison and all bad things that occur while he is held in prison during trial. He wants to record everything he see and hears to write a movie. He explains why and how others see himself as a monster. They want this 16 year old boy to get life without parole. The book looks at the trail through the eyes of this boy about a robbery of a store and a murder. The book describes the courtrooms and trials. He eventually is "Not Guilty" but James King and BoBo were convicted.
This story make you more aware of prison life and kids on trial and the struggles that they go through with the justice system. This book seems to be one sided written from the view of steve. The graphics in this books are expertly done in black and white with precise detail and expressions on faces. Other Books by this author are Lockdown and Slam.
